Europe Meets Hefei: CHINA INNOTOUR 2024 European Science and Technology Management Personnel Visit Programme Successfully Held

From September 24th to 26th, 2 024, the "CHINA INNOTOUR 2024 European Science and Technology Management Personnel Visit Programme – Hefei Session," co-organized by the China-Europe Electronic Materials International Innovation Center (hereinafter as "Innovation Center"), was a resounding success in Hefei. The event drew 23 delegates from governmental tech departments, tech cooperation facilitation bodies, universities, and research institutions across 14 European nations including Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, and Portugal.

During the event, European delegates outlined their key areas of focus in innovation and articulated their collaborative aspirations. Local tech firms from Hefei presented compelling cases of open innovation, prompting lively discussions among attendees eager to explore synergistic partnerships. The summit successfully established a robust dialogue platform between China and Europe, laying the groundwork for enhanced cooperation in science and technology innovation.

Moving forward, the Innovation Center will continue to pioneer innovative international collaboration models under the guidance of the Ministry of Science and Technology’s International Cooperation Department, the China Science and Technology Exchange Center, and the Anhui Provincial Department of Science and Technology. Our commitment is to promote the development of electronic materials technology, intensify research and development in key electronic materials, and make contributions to international collaboration.
